Turtle animation

This is a little animation I did after work in Flash MX. I think Flash gets a bad rap sometimes for not being animation friendly. It is probably that Flash does limited animation so well that it gets pegged as a limited animation program. It's not fair. I did this turtle animation to try and push the program farther then I normally do. I had a good time with this little guy.

Rock on Mike.. I know that you spent some long nights at work doing this, but I also know this was a product of passion.. Looks good, who knew Flash could co-exist with a true-blue animator!?

Crap man! Looks great Mike. Really seems like you enjoyed yourself on this one. From a production standpoint, would this kind of sophistication be totally impossible on a show schedule, or is it more being creative with the time you have...?

Dang Mike, looks really good! I especially like how you moved the pupils as it blinks. Looks like you had a good time doing this. Rock on!

Wow Mike, that's amazing. I watched it about 5 times in a row because I couldn't believe that it was done in Flash. Those leg movements are insane!

This is awesome Mike!!! I animate in Flash full-time and it's nice to see someone do some real animation in it and not just tween some symbol across the screen. Great secondaries and bounce in his step. LOVE IT!

Holy crap! That is beautiful!!! Very inspiring!
As we speak, I am struggling to learn Flash in order to animate my webcomic "Chippy and Loopus". You have just given me the impetus to carry on!

Nice Mike!!! I like this happy little feller's attitude... makes me want to bust out the col-erase! Was this for a larger project or just a personal test?

just for fun. flash can be pretty full if you want it to be. I want to encourage more of that in the show that I'm on.
Thanks everybody.
